Sowell Management has been named to Forbes inaugural list of America’s Top Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Firms. The 2022 list recognizes the leading RIA firms across the U.S. with decades of experience and a proven record of accomplishment seeing clients through market turmoil and preserving their wealth.
Sowell Management ranked 94th in the prestigious annual report, produced independently by Forbes. The inaugural Forbes Top RIA list has 100 advisory firms with cumulative assets of $730 billion.
Forbes’ list was compiled by SHOOK Research, which uses quantitative and qualitative data, including interviews, to rank member firms. Their algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and considers firms that encompass best practices and approaches to working with clients, the report stated.
In its report, Forbes noted that RIA firms, which are legally bound by a fiduciary standard, remain one of the fastest-growing segments in the wealth management business because they are committed to working in a client’s best interest rather than for such things as high commission products.
