Jason Lester, who joined Sowell as a senior accountant, is responsible for cash management, corporate accounting (which includes billing and account payables), financial reporting and budgeting. Jason is a seasoned accounting professional with more than 25 years of financial service experience, primarily in the banking industry. A native of Bryant, he is also a proud Arkansan. Jason graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a BA in Finance and an MBA.

Prior to joining Sowell Management, Jason was the director of credit and financial reporting for Rich Logistics in Little Rock. He has a well-rounded career that includes positions as a commercial and construction loan officer and associate vice president of Metropolitan National Bank.

Jason enjoys the challenges of the multi-tasking his role demands and is proud to be helping the company grow. He lives each day holding on to the wisdom of the most impactful advice he’s ever received: “Live today like it’s your last and be thankful for every tomorrow.”

Jason is married to Kim and has four children, two grandchildren and four dogs. In his free time, you will find is with his family and friends or on the golf course. An outdoor lover, he also enjoys cycling, hiking and on the being on the water in his kayak. His biggest passion, however, is food and cooking – especially for the people he loves. Low-key and quick-witted, Jason is funny and fun. He finds purpose in helping others to become successful, which is why he is such an asset to the Sowell Management team.
