Carrie Quraishi brings more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of wealth management, estate planning, and family wealth strategy. As Director of Advanced Planning for Sowell Management’s Advanced Planning Group (APG), she helps advisors and their clients navigate complex planning opportunities involving estate planning, asset protection, business succession, and multi-generational wealth transfer.
A graduate of Arkansas State University (B.A. Finance, cum laude) and Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, Carrie has built a career that uniquely bridges both legal and financial disciplines. Her experience includes roles within wealth management firms, private practice, and serving affluent families across Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas.
Prior to joining Sowell Management, Carrie founded and led Quraishi Law Firm & Wealth Management, where she advised families and business owners on sophisticated planning strategies designed to preserve wealth, reduce complexity, and support long-term family goals.
Carrie’s expertise includes estate and gift tax planning, trust and wealth transfer strategies, asset protection design, business succession planning, and family legacy planning. She is a member of the American Bar Association, WealthCounsel, and ElderCounsel and is the author of The Dirty Dozen: 12 Costly Mistakes Families Make in Their Estate Plan and Smart, Simple Wealth: How to Get It, Keep It, and Pass It On.
